I read news that says some people are being forced to choose between buying food and paying for the fuel they need to get to work. One guy wrote to me telling me that he had to borrow from his employer in order to buy gasoline to get to work! Isn’t that awful?

There’s a lot of stuff in my files about how pornography is rampant, and national morals are at an all-time low. There are just so many problems out there that people everywhere are filled with fear. I see fear of terrorism, and fear of weather disasters, fear of big government, fear of making ends meet, and fear of war. Last year there was a drought in the southern hemisphere that created a shortage of wheat. There’s something in my files about rice riots in Malaysia, and protests in Italy about the rising cost of wheat.

There’s something, also, about floods in the U.S., and that there is already a shortage of corn that will affect people all over the world. It all makes me glad that I planted a garden. But, as I said earlier, I’m concerned about the energy crisis. Thoughts of rolling blackouts and brownouts are not something that makes me happy.

PROBLEMS EVERYWHERE...

The problems are everywhere to be found. All you have to do is pick up a newspaper, a magazine, or turn on the news. The cost of medical treatment, prescription drugs, and insurance of every kind is soaring. However, THERE ARE SOLUTIONS, and that is what I am writing to you about.
